Hello, I'm Philip Hartley, a professional wedding photographer based in Dorset specialising in an 'editorial' style of wedding photography. This is a unique mix of documentary and magazine photography.

Professional Experience
I have worked for many national magazines and newspapers during my long career as a professional photographer, including The Independent and The Times, photographing news events, celebrities and royalty. I also have a degree in art photography. Over the years I have learnt the skills to get the shot where less experienced photographers would blame the weather, the light or in the worst cases the client!

Your wedding
Every wedding is a wonderful occasion and my role is to capture the joy, laughter (and tears!) while you relax and enjoy the best day of your life. I am discreet and respectful, happy to fit around your plans and always honoured to be part of your wedding day. I'll create breathtaking, elegant photographs you will cherish long after the cake has been eaten and the gifts unwrapped.
